This Chaga is harvested sustainably during the winter months in order to pack the most medicine and preserve our prestigious ecosystem. Leaving no trace and maintaining old-school techniques of harvest. We use only hand tools to pry our Chaga mushrooms from the trunk.
Chaga will be most potent during the winter month. After the temperatures drop below -5C for two consecutive weeks. Ensuring the tree is dormant as well as maintaining top medicinal properties.
We harvest Chaga in remote parts of BC, North SK, and northern Ontario. These regions have little to zero industry and nonexistent levels of air pollution so it’s free of heavy metals and pesticides.
Chaga is known to boost the immune system and help fight cancer. It is most commonly turned into powder, tinctures or brewed as a tea, coffee alternative, and added with hot chocolate.
How to make Chaga Tea:
1. Bring a large pot of spring water to a boil, then reduce the heat.
2. Drop your powder into the water and allow to simmer for at least 30 minutes to extract the water-soluble medicinal benefits of chaga.
3. ENJOY A CUP OF CHAGA!
4. Continue holding on low heat for about 24 hours if possible for best effects!
